Student Christian Movement seeks Groups Worker

The British Student Christian Movement is seeking a self-motivated Groups Worker to support a network of Christian student groups and SCM members at universities and colleges.

You will be helping to build a movement of Christian students who can share an inclusive and challenging Christian faith with others and speak out together on issues of justice.

You will be able to inspire and encourage others to get involved, and have experience of working with students or young people.

With excellent organisational skills, you will be planning and running events and training, and supporting groups through visits and regular communication.

You must be able to work flexibly as part of a small team and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Groups Worker (3 days per week)
  • Salary: £18,000 pro rata, (i.e. £10,800)
  • Location: Birmingham, UK

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on the 9 September 2011

Interviews to be held during the week beginning the 19th or 26th September.
