The Chaplaincy Lecture – Rethinking the Contemporary relevance of Islam is TODAY !!

Today (Monday 8th February) beginning at 7 pm the Chaplaincy will be holding a public lecture. This lecture will take place in the Glamorgan Conference Centre on the Treforest Campus.

Our guest Lecturer is writer and
broadcaster Ziauddin Sardar. He describes
himself as a ‘critical polymath He is the
author of over 40 books, including the
highly acclaimed ‘Desperately Seeking
Paradise’. He is Visiting Professor, School of
Arts, the City University, London and
editor of ‘Futures’, the monthly journal of
planning, policy and futures studies.
Ziauddin Sardar was born in Northern
Pakistan in 1951; grew up in Hackney,
London. Educated, at Brooke House
Secondary School, East London; Read
physics and then information science at
the City University, London.





This will be a
Fairtrade event.
Everyone is welcome, however if you do intend to come along please let us know as there will be refreshments served afterwards.
