A Chaplaincy Retreat for Busy People
Would you like to stop, just for a day, and take a good look at yourself in the presence of God?
The Chaplaincy to the University of Glamorgan offers you the chance to do just that in the week before Easter.
All are welcome – both students and staff – on this retreat day in Porthcawl, conducted in the Christian tradition.
The retreat day is Tuesday 7th April and transport is provided, departing from the Students’ Union at 9.15 a.m. and returning by 4.30 p.m.. A light lunch will be provided (please inform us of any special dietary needs). Sensible footwear is advised, as there will be an opportunity for walking should you wish to do so.
There is a small charge of £3 for participating in the day, to be paid on departure.
To book your place (only 20 places available), please contact the chaplaincy by Monday 30th March with your name, e-mail address, mobile phone number and (if a student) your Student Number. Enquiries can be made by email to the same address, or to extension 4060.
Please note: The retreat will only run if at least six people sign up. The Chaplaincy will confirm on or after Thursday 2nd April whether it is going ahead.
